This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal and sensitive health data in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
2. DATA WE COLLECT
To provide a premium educational and clinical experience, we collect:
- Identity Data: Full name, date of birth, and government-issued ID (for 1,200h diploma verification).
- Contact Data: Email address, phone number, and residential address.
- Financial Data: Payment card details and billing history (processed securely via Stripe/PayPal; we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
- Health & Energy Data (Sensitive): For students and clinical patients, we collect information regarding spinal health, medical history, and 5-Body energy assessments to personalize therapy and training.
- Academic Data: Attendance logs, quiz scores, video submissions for practical exams, and clinical case studies.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We process your data only for the following purposes:
- Educational Delivery: To manage your enrollment, track your 48 Credit Units (CU), and issue your International Diploma.
- Clinical Safety: To ensure that movement therapy and manual practice are safe for your specific physical condition.
- Professional Accreditation: To verify your hours for international bodies like the Complementary Health Professionals (CHP) or insurance providers.
- Communication: To provide updates via your Student Success Manager (SSM).
4. DATA SECURITY & SHARING
- Confidentiality: We do not sell your data. Your clinical and academic records are accessible only by authorized Faculty (e.g., Master Dr. Sridevi To Hai and Ms. Kenlyn Stewart) and the Student Success team.
- Third-Party Providers: We may share data with trusted partners (LMS hosting, payment processors, and professional insurance brokers) only to the extent necessary to deliver our services.
- International Transfers: As a global academy with offices in the UK and Vietnam, we ensure that all data transfers follow "Standard Contractual Clauses" to maintain UK-level protection regardless of location.
5. VIDEO & MEDIA CONSENT
As part of the 1,200-hour program, students submit videos of practical therapy.
- These videos are used strictly for Academic Evaluation.
- We will never use your image or video for marketing purposes without a separate, explicit Media Release Formsigned by you.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: The right to request a copy of your academic and financial records.
- Rectification: The right to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): The right to request the deletion of your data once your contractual obligations (e.g., tuition payments) are met and legal retention periods expire.
- Data Portability: The right to transfer your credits and records to another institution.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain academic records (transcripts and diplomas) for a minimum of 25 years to support your long-term career verification and hub licensing needs. Clinical health records are kept for 8 years following your last session, as per UK medical record standards.
